Raspberry Pi 5 is (almost) Here!

Pi 5 was launched on September 28, 2023 for pre-orders only. Most authorized retailers will ship the first batch of Pi 5 around October 23rd. The second batch is scheduled for some time late November/early December.

I've put together a list of resellers and their Pi 5 pre-order page. Most of them sold out of the 8GB version for the October 23 batch but some still have the 4GB version available for October. Most sellers still have both the 4GB and 8GB versions are available for the November/December batch. Some resellers are indicating 8GB will only be available early 2024. Make sure to check the details on the seller's pre-order page before ordering.

I expect most resellers to also offer Pi 5 kits and some are letting you pre-order the kits also. Kits might be a good way to get started with the Pi 5. I have been using my Pi 5 since about a week before the announcement and I recommend the new (27W) power supply and some sort of active cooling. From the current listings, resellers are packaging the Pi 5 with: Power Source, Official Case (includes fan), Official HDMI cable, and an SD card.

When will the Pi 5 be tracked on rpilocator.com?

Pi 5 tracking will be up and running around October 23, when most retailers are expected to start shipping the new Pi. Before then, you can check the list of pre-order pages listed below.
